This lake is famous for its architectural beauty. This lake is situated in the heart of the city connecting Fateh Sagar and Lake Pichola. The lakes of Udaipur are said to be created to overcome the issue of water supply in the city and also recharge the underground water levels of the city which helps in the agriculture, industrial use and drinking purposes. This lake is named after Maharana Swaroop Singh of Mewar. This lake is commonly known as Kumharia Talab. This lake was built to manage the water levels of both Fateh Sagar and of Lake Pichola. This lake is situated in the north-west of Udaipur. It is located on the backside of Jagdish Temple Chandpole and connects it to Rangsagar. This lake is accessible by road and is 3.5kms away from the city station. To commute to this place, the tourists can take a cab, autorickshaws, tongas, rent vehicles, etc. to visit this place.
