Siliserh lake was a vision of the then ruler of Alwar Maharaja Vinay Singh of Alwar. This lake is a serene beauty between the rugged Aravalli hills. This lake was created by the king on the tributary of River Ruparel. The only purpose for Siliserh lake creation was to provide water to the city of Alwar. There is a beautiful palace that was constructed by the king for his queen on the river banks. This palace is now a RTDC hotel which provides staying facilities. This beautiful Siliserh lake is surrounded by dense wood forest.
