This temple has continuously been worshiped since 1651 and initially this temple was called the temple of Jagannath Rai  but now is popular as Jagdish Temple. This temple is raised on the tall terrace and was completed in 1651. Jagdish temple was built by Maharana Jagat Singh. To reach the main shrine, the visitor must climb 32 stares made of marbles. It is a Hindu Temple Located in the Kailash Puri area of Udaipur, which is purely devoted to Lord Shiva. This temple was made by Bappa Rawal in the 8th Century. The original Eklingji temple was destroyed at the time of Delhi Sultanate Rulers. Initially, the idol in this temple was installed by Hamir Singh in the 14th Century, who was a ruler of Mewar. Later on, in the 15th century, Rana Kumbha rebuilt this temple and constructed the Vishnu temple additionally. The devotees and followers of Eklingji temples believe that the Idol is the protector of Mewar. This Temple is located 24 km away from the Udaipur Airport and around 4 Km away from Udaipur railway station. To reach the main shrine, the visitor can  consider two options, that is, walkway from the stairs or the Karni mata Ropeway. The walk can approximately take half an hour and via ropeway the visitor can reach the temple in lesser time. This temple is also famous for showcasing the 360 degree View of the city of Lakes, Udaipur.

Neemach mata Temple

This is also one of the most believed and famous temples situated in the Udaipur District. This temple of Udaipur is located on the Dewali hills near the bank of Fateh sagar Lake. To reach the temple there are both stairs and a slopeway available which are approximately 900 km long. This temple has an idol stone of Neemach Mata Devi and Lord Ganesh. It is believed that Neemach mata is the Kuldevi of the Dokot Khandan from Bhatnagar. There is also a ropeway option for reaching the main shrine of the temple, which is locally known as Neemach mata ropeway. The Neemach mata temple and its ropeway provides an exotic view of Udaipur city and fateh sagar lake.
