Sun Temple

Also known as the Surya Mandir, this temple is situated on the banks of river Pushpavati in Modhera close to the Mehsana district in Gujarat, India. The main hypothesis, based on the architectural design of the temple, is that the temple belongs to the period before the Sokotra traditions.
