Nathdwara is a city that is known for its spiritual significance due to the presence of the Shrinathji temple and the idol of Shiv Ji, which is famously called the Vishwaswarupam. Now adding to the list is the magnificent idol of Lord Hanuman, which is the next big Nathdwara spiritual attraction, boosting the tourism of the city.

The Hanuman Statue at Nathdwara is attracting a lot of attention because it is almost on the verge of completion and will be inaugurated on the 26th of March, 2026, on the occasion of Ram Navami. In this blog, you will find some informative details about the Nathdwara Hanuman Murti, Hanuman Murti Significance, and Nathdwara Spiritual Tourism.

The Sculptor and Financer Behind the Nathdwara Hanuman Murti

The sculptor of the Nathdwara Hanuman Murti is Naresh Kumar Kumawat. He is the man behind multiple great sculptures across India and worldwide. He has been representing India’s cultural legacy across 80 international borders globally. Naresh Kumar Kumawat is also the man who sculpted the Statue of Belief, which is 369 ft tall and made it to the international Guinness World Record.

Naresh Kumar Kumawat is a person who belongs to Rajasthan’s Pilani. Since his childhood, he has grown up around sculpting tools and inspiration from his father, Matu Ram Verma, a master sculptor. Growing up in an environment where his dad sculpted idols, he grew passionate about the art and went on to gain formal training at the Baroda College of Art, Slade School of Fine Arts in London and Calgary, Canada. He went there to master the 3D art, CNC machines and robotic sculpting techniques that improve both his productivity and creativity.

To construct this Nathdwara Hanuman Murti, there was a financier who looked after the responsibility of transporting all the goods of the Hanuman Statue from Nathdwara. The financier of this Hanuman Statue Nathdwara is Girish Shah. He is a Mumbai-based businessman and a philanthropist. He also belongs to Rajasthan.

Information on Hanuman Murti Nathdwara

The Hanuman Murti Nathdwara is built out of fibreglass and is panchdhatu-coated. The Hanuman Murti is built on top of the Giriraj Parvat, also known as Bada Magra in Nathdwara, Rajasthan. The Hanuman Murti is faced towards the south of the city, overlooking the ShriNath Ji Temple.

Height of the Nathdwara Hanuman Murti

The total height of the Nathdwara Hanuman Murti is 111 feet tall. However, when the height of the murti is compared from the road level, it is 500 ft tall, as it is built on a hill. The whole Hanuman Murti Nathdwara has taken 3 years to be completed.

Since the Hanuman Murti Mathdwara is built on a hilltop, it was difficult to transport the murti parts to the top of the hill. Therefore, it took a lot of effort to transport the parts, and the idol financier Girish Shah made all the efforts to complete the idol construction.

Hanuman Murti Significance in Nathdwara

The significance of the Hanuman Murti in Nathdwara is that it will boost Nathdwara’s spiritual tourism and also help the city develop new accolades. The city of Nathdwara is already famous for its ShriNath Ji temple and the Statue of Belief, commonly known as the Vishwaswarupam. After the Hanuman statue inauguration on the 26th March, 2026, the city will be attracting more crowds the whole day, as during the day, the natural light will beautify the idol, and at night, the laser lights will enhance its beauty.

Conclusion

With the completion of the Hanuman Murti in Nathdwara, the tourism of the city will increase, and it will give the city a spiritual image. The Hanuman Murti at the Giriraj Parvat will be the new attraction and will be visible from the Udaipur-Nathdwara Highway itself.
