The making of the Statue of Belief
The brain behind the creation of the tallest idol of Lord Shiva was the chairman of the Miraz group Mr. Madan Paliwal. He had this idea at his discretion for developing Nathdwara as a famous tourist spot. He had envisioned this idol to be a tourist attraction and planned and executed the making of the structure at the Ganesh tekri on a hill lock. This vision was further taken ahead by the art studio Mathuram Art who outstructured the idol of lord Shiva which is 369 ft high.
There were several vendors on this project who worked together to bring to life the idea of the tallest idol. The Final contract was given to Shapoorji Pallonji E&C for the construction of the statue and the other facilities in the complex. The spot where the idol is built and placed is called the Trinetra Chowk. The construction work of the statue and the other amenities started in 2016. Though the construction work of the Vishwa Swaroopam was completed by 2020; it was unveiled and inaugurated on 29th October, 2022 after the completion of all the work done nearby.
The description of the idol

The idol of Lord Shiva is seen in a sitting position with his left leg over the right knee and is seen holding a trishul in his left hand. The whole land that is allotted for the installation is around 16 acres and on this piece of land, there is a parking facility, three herbal gardens, a food court where the visitors can relish tasty dishes, a laser fountain, an area for handicraft shops, viewing platforms, musical fountains, a souvenir shop and a pond. There is a mini train also available that can be used by the visitors for a quick local sightseeing.
