Andeshwar Parshwanath Ji is located in between the serene and beautiful Aravalli ranges is a temple that is dedicated to Jains. This temple is mostly famous for the idol of lord Parshwanath as it was made with black stone. This temple is considered as the 23rd tirthankara place for jains. This place is also considered as a miracle place for the devotees especially the Digambar Jains. This temple is located 40 kms away from Banswara, Rajasthan.
This idol was said to be found by the tribe which was residing there and cultivating the land around that time. This temple is famous for the idol as it has seven hoods along with being 80 cm long. The month of Kartik is considered very sacred. On the 15th day of this month, there is a fair that is arranged by the locals of this place and it is visited by the residents of the town and cities nearby this place.
Since the temple was constructed in the 10th century, it needed some repairing work which was carried out recently and there was a “kanch mandir” that was built next to the main temple dedicated to lord Parshwanath. This temple is accessible by road and railways. Since it is on the way to Kushalgarh, it is easy for the devotees to worship and pay homage to the lord.
