The Marwar event is the most well-known event in the Jodhpur area. This event happens every year, from September to October, during the full moon of Sharad Poornima. The event will take place in Jodhpur City at the Mehrangarh Fort, the Clock Tower, the Ummed Stadium, the Samrat Ashok Udhyan, and the Osian Sand Dunes, which are close to Jodhpur. At the Marwar Festival, people honour the heroes of Rajasthan. It was first known as the Maand Festival. The main draw of this event is folk music based on the love lives of Rajasthan’s kings.
Most of the music and dance at the event come from the Marwar area. Folk singers and dancers put on a lively show at the event. These folk artists’ songs tell stories about old battles and heroes who live on. The Tattoo Show for camels, tug of war, the Race keeping matka on head, traditional dress activities and handicraft shows, kite flying, and more are just some of the things that you can see and do at the event.

Plans for October 16, 2025 Surya Aradhana will be done at Jaipole in Mehrangarh Fort at 6:15 AM. The Heritage Walk can begin at 7:00 AM, and one starting place is Jaipole. The path goes through Juni Dhan Mandi and ends at the Clock Tower. It will happen from 8:15 AM to 8:45 AM. The public march will go from the Clock Tower to the Government Umaid Stadium. There will be a lot of fun things to do at the Government Umaid Stadium in Jodhpur, such as a moustache contest, turban tying, Marwar Shree, tug of war, and a matka race. From 8:45 AM to 10:05 AM. At the Government Umaid Stadium in Jodhpur, people will fly kites and there will be an art show. At 8:30 AM to 12:00 Noon Government Stadium for Umaid will be organising a show of combat weapons and arms by the Border Security Force (BSF) and Tattoo show on camels.

Between 10 and 11 a.m. Plan for culture: Folk Singing Show happens. There are many folk singers from Rajasthan at the Government Umaid Stadium in Jodhpur. 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. At Samrat Ashok Udyan, there is a craft show from 10 AM to 9 PM. At Ashok Garden Jodhpur, there is a show with Indian artists from Rajasthan and Bollywood stars. There will be a cultural caravan on October 17, 2025 at 01:00 AM. The Osian Village Sand Dunes are open from 3:15 PM to 6:15 PM. Here, you can play sports at the event and can enjoy ride camels. At the Osian Sand Dunes, people can see art and can fly kites. 4:00 pm to 9 pm a cultural evening will take place at the sand dunes of Osian of Jodhpur, with folk rock bands and well-known singers going on stage from 7 PM to 9 PM.
