Bagore ki Haveli
Bagore ki Haveli is a palace that has 100 rooms displaying the costumes and the dresses of the queen and kings. There are beautiful glass work paintings on the ceilings and on the walls of that haveli. To show the perfect example of art with glass work is the two peacocks made out of small pieces of colourful glasses in the queen’s chamber. Bagore ki Haveli was made by the Prime minister of the king’s courtyard. His name is Shri Amarchand Badwa who has been there in the royal courtyard since the rule of all the Maharanas of the Mewar region. The expansion of this haveli was done gradually as and when the royal family resided in this mansion. After Independence, the control of the haveli was taken by the then state government but was not maintained.
