Kajli Teej is a brave story. Balwant Singh Hada was the Jagirdar of Gothra in Bundi state, according to Jain. He was a brave man with a strong will. He was once teased by a friend who said that since there is a big Teej parade in Jaipur, it would be great if there was one here too. After that, he chose to win the same Teej of Jaipur and bring it back. Once Gothra Darbar won it, they are said to have brought “Kajli Teej” from Jaipur. Balwant Singh and his troops got to Jaipur on the Sawan Teej. The parade was leaving that way in a royal style. Thakur Balwant Singh Hada took the Teej from Jaipur to Gothra with the help of some brave people in the royal party. After that, Teej Mata’s parade began to be held in Gothra. Maharaja Ram Singh of Bundi brought the Teej parade to Bundi after Balwant Singh’s death, and it began to be held there.
