Early Life & Education:
Virat Kohli was born in Delhi into a Punjabi family. Prem Kohli, his father, practiced criminal law, while Saroj Kohli, his mother, is a stay-at-home mom. He went to Vishal Bharti Public School while growing up in Delhi’s Uttam Nagar neighbourhood.
In 1998, he started playing cricket at the West Delhi Cricket Academy (WDCA) under coach Rajkumar Sharma. He was incredibly talented and committed to the game from an early age.
