Priyansh Arya was born in Fatehabad, Haryana, on January 18, 2001, and was brought up in Delhi by his parents, who were both educators. Under the guidance of famous coach Sanjay Bhardwaj, who has also tutored players like Gautam Gambhir and Unmukt Chand, he started playing cricket at the age of seven when he joined at the L.B. Shastri Cricket Academy.

Against the North Delhi Strikers in the 2024 DPL season, Arya displayed his explosive batting ability by hitting 120 runs off 50 balls, including six sixes in a single over.
